Description

RFHIC’s RRT901005K0-570 is a 5kW, X-Band, gallium-nitride (GaN) solid-state transmitter designed for high-power applications such as maritime, surveillance, and weather radar. The RRT901005K0-570 delivers flexible duty cycle ranges from 1% to 15% and a pulse width ranging from 1 to 100 microseconds. The transmitter system is modular and fault-tolerant and is equipped with eight gallium-nitride (GaN) solid-state power modules combined in a single rack mount system. The system employs RFHIC’s cutting-edge gallium-nitride gallium-nitride on silicon carbide (GaN-on-SiC) transistors enabling increased transmitted power, efficiency, and reliability. The system uses forced air cooling and a WR-90 Waveguide output. The RRT901005K0-570 boasts a scalable architecture allowing customers to easily expand when required.
